Gaia Morte Artworks

Gaia Morte Artworks is an independent curiosity and entomology art business created by Laura, specialising in framed specimens, domes, curiosities, bone displays and unusual handcrafted pieces.

The collection began with carefully pinned and framed butterflies, before growing into a wider range of insect, bone and full mount displays. Each piece has a striking gothic natural history feel, blending the beauty of the natural world with the atmosphere of old curiosity cabinets, museum collections and dark decorative art.

Laura works with breeders from around the world, as well as home-raised insects, to help ensure specimens are ethically and sustainably sourced. The Gaia Morte Artworks range now includes entomology frames, display domes, curiosities, jewellery and one-of-a-kind statement pieces for those drawn to the strange, delicate and beautifully macabre.
