Weston Independent Market
Weston Independent Market is a weekly street market at The Italian Gardens in Weston-super-Mare. Launched in 2025, it brings together more than 40 stalls selling food and drink, crafts, gifts, goods, beauty and fashion, with seasonal community events and live music along the way.
It means a lot to us too. The three founders of The Curious Hideaway first crossed paths at this market, as traders, before opening the shop together on West Street.

Markets can change with the weather and the time of year, so check before you set off, especially around Christmas and New Year.
Can I meet your makers there?
Often, yes. Our events calendar shows where we and our stockists will be. Some of our makers built their businesses at market stalls, so it is a good place to chat to them about their work or a custom order.
Not a Wednesday?
The shop is open seven days a week at 15 West Street, near Weston College. You can also catch us at Clevedon Market on Thursdays.
